Founder’s Philosophy:
My passion throughout my professional career has been on empowering individuals, groups, and organizations to successfully achieve their goals. I have become convinced how important a strong emotional intelligence foundation is in achieving career success. Developing these key life skills can make us personally and socially more competent and successful.
As a licensed social worker for 20 years, I counseled individuals in overcoming obstacles and initiating changes that led to an improved quality of life, inner satisfaction and overall happiness. Any change had to begin with an awareness of one’s behavior in context of the world around them, which is the first step and most important part of emotional intelligence or EQ.
As a career coach and consultant for a leading global provider of career transition services, I witnessed how awareness and effective use of EQ competencies led one to be more successful in their job search. These individuals found a position, not only in a timely manner, but one that was in line with their own values, skills and interests.
As a facilitator for college student leadership groups, it was apparent that those students who used the opportunity to learn about their emotional intelligence skills and were motivated to take action steps to further develop their skills, stood out in the hiring process when interviewing for job positions.
The unique strengths that I bring to my coaching clients are:
- Strong interpersonal skills of listening, understanding, facilitating and collaborating
- My results focused orientation
- Genuine passion of helping others succeed.
